HIP 2019 presents its new campaign to promote a digital Horeca

With only two editions, HIP | Horeca Professional Expo has become the leading event in innovation for the entire HORECA sector. The fair, based in Madrid, will hold its third edition on 18, 19 and 20 February 2019 to stage the new business paradigms that the digital era is establishing in the hospitality sector. And it will do so with a growth of more than 20% in the number of exhibitors and visitors, expanding its exhibition space in a third pavilion.

The new campaign “Are you in? Welcome to the Digital Era” launched by HIP 2019 emphasizes the key digitization moment that hoteliers have to face in order to stay strong in the market, improve the customer experience and succeed in differentiating their businesses. The digital avalanche and the rapid changes in consumer habits are affecting each and every one of the businesses, regardless of their size or typology whether they are a bar, a restaurant or a hotel. Who does not know how to adapt to this new revolution runs the risk of losing competitiveness, and HIP wants to act as a relay and transmission belt of all innovation for the sector.

HIP stands out for being much more than a conventional fair. With a very specific agenda for each professional profile and each type of business, it is also a platform for knowledge, networking, training and real business opportunities. Three intense days that will connect entrepreneurs and managers with manufacturers, creating the largest community represented by the leaders of the hotel and restaurant industry.

Thanks to the high demand of companies in the sector that want to be part of HIP, this year the event will extend its space to 3 exhibition halls within IFEMA, with a capacity of 33,000m2 where the most innovative products and solutions will be displayed. 2

The exhibition area will also include two novelties: the Wine Show area, a space where the world of wine will be treated from the point of view of business for the restaurateur through the optimization of its wine list, sales techniques, service and generation of customer experience; and the New Concepts area where new and disruptive business models will be promoted and displayed.

The delivery or socio-health sector will have a leading role in HIP too, with the participation of specialized brands for these business segments.

Hospitality 4.0 Congress, the most important HORECA innovation congress at international level

Hospitality 4.0 Congress is the largest convention in the sector with the participation of more than 400 international experts in 10 parallel auditoriums where the challenges faced by each professional will be addressed through 7 summits, designed specifically and leaded by prominent personalities of the sector.

The program will include the most important events of our country such as the 10th edition of Restaurant Trends of Brands of Restoration, Hotel Trends or the Culinary Action organized by the Basque Culinary Center, among others.

In order to generate the maximum networking to connect companies and professional visitors, HIP will have a series of first level events such as the Horeca New Business Model Awards, the Leadership Summit or The Best Digital Restaurant Awards 2019.
