Known for its collection of distinctive coastal luxury properties in Maine, Kennebunkport Resort Collection proudly announces the appointment of Melissa Sheffer as General Manager overseeing three of the collection’s luxury properties: Hidden Pond, Cape Arundel Inn & Resort, and The Tides Beach Club.
Distinguished for her deep expertise in luxury hospitality operations, Sheffer brings a comprehensive background spanning independent resorts, boutique hotel leadership, and high-end vacation rental management to her new role. She will oversee operations across three distinct properties, guiding them into their next chapter of elevated guest experiences and sustained excellence. Dedicated to strengthening service culture and honoring the distinct identity of each property, Sheffer will focus on amplifying personalized hospitality, operational consistency, and team development across the collection.
Most recently, Sheffer served as Director of Rooms at the acclaimed Woodstock Inn & Resort. Prior to that, she led as Director of Property Operations for Stowe Country Homes, managing a portfolio of luxury vacation rental properties and further strengthening her expertise in residential-style hospitality experiences. Earlier in her career, Sheffer held leadership positions at Jay Peak Resort and Enchantment Resort, where she developed the operational foundation and people-first leadership philosophy that continue to shape her approach to hospitality today.
