
Pullman Brisbane King George Square is delighted to announce the appointment of Lynsey Burke as Associate Director of Sales, bringing with her two decades of diverse experience in the global hospitality industry.
In her new role, Burke will play a key role in driving the continued success of the hotel’s Conference and Events business. Working closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, she will oversee key accounts, support the growth and development of the C&E team, and implement strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets. Her focus will be on expanding the hotel’s presence in the events market by building strong partnerships with agents, PCOs, and the wider tourism industry. With her strengths in relationship building, negotiation, strategic planning and collaboration, Burke aims to elevate the hotel’s events offering and position Pullman Brisbane King George Square as a leader in Brisbane’s dynamic C&E landscape.

Originally from Scotland, Burke first discovered her passion for hospitality while studying at university, and has since built an impressive career spanning resorts across Scotland and New Zealand. Throughout her journey, she has held roles from Wedding Planner to Hotel Manager, hosting everyone from sporting legends and celebrities to members of Royalty. She has also played a key role in delivering major international sporting events, including the British Open and the New Zealand Open, where she gained valuable experience managing high-profile clients, coordinating large-scale operations and ensuring seamless guest experiences under the spotlight of global attention.
With her extensive international experience, passion for hospitality and proven success in sales and events, Burke is well-positioned to drive growth and innovation at the Pullman Brisbane King George Square. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the hotel as it continues to cement its reputation as one of Brisbane’s premier destinations.
