Spire Hospitality is pleased to announce that Jessica Sherbert has been appointed director of sales for The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando.
In her new role, Sherbert will oversee all sales initiatives for The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando, including strategic planning for group, leisure, and wholesale sales. She will report to Anna Stone, The Grove’s director of marketing and business development.
The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando, located at 14501 Grove Resort Ave, Winter Garden, FL, is an 865-key full-service property with four onsite restaurants. It is also home to the Surfari Water Park, which features a 700-foot lazy river, dual water slides, and a surf simulator. The resort is designated a Walt Disney World Good NeighborHotel and offers complimentary shuttles to Disney’s four Orlando parks.
Most recently, Sherbert was the director of sales and marketing at Marriott Village Orlando. She spent the last four years developing and implementing the marketing and sales strategy at this 1,100-room complex. She has previously held director-level positions with full-service Hilton and Marriott portfolio properties.
Sherbert began her hospitality career as the business development manager for the steakhouse at Shula’s Hotel in Miami. Jessica’s first director role was building the team and opening a new property in Palm Beach Gardens in 2008.
