The hotel that Patrice Boman is General Manager of combines two of Marriott International’s megabrands. On one side, longer stay guests at Residence Inn by Marriott can rejoice in apartmentstyled suites with separate living, working and sleeping areas, including a fully functional kitchen. On the other side, a traditional select-service hotel brings Fairfield by Marriott, one of the largest brands in the world, to Europe for the first time.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity to climb to the top of the management team at a hotel. And not just any hotel. The combination of two brand categories and the launch of the Fairfield brand in Europe make this an exciting new hotel to launch in Copenhagen. I am currently accepting applications for all roles, and I really excited to find the team that will help me open the hotel,” says Patrice Boman, General Manager at the Fairfield & Residence Inn Copenhagen Nordhavn hotel.

In addition to the powerful Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, the hotel is set to be competitive from a sustainability perspective, too. The hotel aims to be both DGNB Gold and Green Key certified after opening. Among the many initiatives are 800 sqm solar panels on the roof with additional power coming from 100% renewable sources, eco-certified chemicals, schemes to decrease overall chemical use, and bike rental, among others.
