Costakis as vice president of construction and development. Costakis brings over 25 years of experience in construction to this leadership position.

Costakis brings over 25 years of experience in construction to this leadership position.As vice president of construction and development, Costakis will lead the First Hospitality Construction and Development Division. His responsibilities include project management, quality assurance, strategic planning, as well as fostering owner and partner relationships.
“We are excited to welcome Larry to the team to lead our construction and renovation efforts as we continue to expand nationally,” said Duncan. “Larry’s experience brings a wealth of knowledge that encompasses everything from ground-up builds to comprehensive renovations and will be a strong asset to our team.”
Costakis has extensive hospitality experience, and has overseen more than 100 hotel construction projects in key construction leadership positions with stayAPT, AJ Capital Partners, and Extended Stay America. Beyond the hotel industry, Costakis has showcased his expertise in multi-family and self-storage projects during his tenure as Vice President of Construction for Banner Real Estate Group. Furthermore, he has held the position of Director of Construction for Brunswick Corporation – Bowling & Billiards, and served as a Project Executive with Burling Builders.
Costakis holds a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University. In his free time, Costakis enjoys sailing, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
