First Hospitality grows management portfolio adding three new lifestyle hotels and seven restaurants

First Hospitality, a national hotel operating, management, and development company, assumed management and operations of Hotel Ardent, Dayton, OH, Lively Hotel, Oklahoma City, OK, and opened Tempo by Hilton Louisville Downtown NuLu (May 1, 2024) bringing the number of lifestyle properties to 25+ in its overall portfolio of 70 hotels. First Hospitality is set to open and has assumed management of seven new restaurants, bringing the total number to 30+ restaurants in the portfolio, including its first international property, Carnivale Bahamas located on Paradise Island.

First Hospitality, a national hotel operating and development company, witnessed significant growth in 2023, increasing its hotels and restaurants under management by nearly 40%. In addition, First Hospitality continued its focus on upscale, soft brand and lifestyle properties which is now approaching 40% of its portfolio. Last year, the company entered five new markets, bringing its diverse portfolio to more than 70 independent and branded properties, with over 10,000 keys, and 3,500 world-class associates.

Marriott International becomes first hospitality company to introduce neuroinclusive practices at its largest customer events

Marriott International, Inc., today announced its commitment to incorporate neuroinclusive practices at Marriott-hosted customer events of 250 people or more globally. This commitment is a result of joining forces with The Neu Project, an initiative from Google’s Experience Institute (Xi) that aims to share resources designed to better accommodate and create a more inclusive experience during meetings and events for neurodivergent attendees. These practices are initially being previewed at Marriott’s Corporate Partnership Customer Conference, THE EXCHANGE, currently taking place November 28 through December 1, 2023 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Springs, CA.
