“Serviced apartments have risen in prominence in recent years and investors are looking to us to help them diversify their portfolios. The economic environment is challenging, with high-interest rates, but we are able to be creative and help get deals done.”

Daniel Johansson, director of development & acquisitions, Cheval Collection, said: “We are thrilled that Nikola has joined the team as we look to meet the growing demand for luxury serviced apartments around the world.

“I look forward to drawing on his expertise as our pipeline builds. Our decades of experience in the serviced apartment sector mean that investors and developers are being drawn to our proven ability to deliver a high-quality product with limber operations.”

Cheval Collection opened Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai in April this year. The property was the group’s first site outside the UK.

Mohammed S. Alawadhi, managing director, Cheval Collection, said: “Dubai has earned a global reputation for luxury and the Cheval Maison brand is a perfect fit as the emirate continues to grow its tourism offering.

“Our expanded portfolio of three brands means that we have solutions to offer both business and leisure travellers who are looking for a luxury home-from-home whether at work or play or, increasingly, both.”
