Rosewood Hotel Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Yung as Chief Financial Officer. With an esteemed career that
stretches more than 25 years, Yung has profound knowledge of the financial sector and also of the Rosewood ecosystem of brands, having spent the past two years at the helm of Rosewood Capital Ventures in the role of Managing Partner. During this time, Kevin also served as a strategic advisor to Rosewood Hotel Group, offering guidance and support across multiple areas of the business.
In his new role as Chief Financial Officer, Kevin will oversee the financial operations of the Group’s global brands. He will retain his previous role as Managing Partner of Rosewood Capital Ventures, making him uniquely positioned to optimize the synergies between the two organizations and achieve greater alignment through unified leadership.
Prior to joining Rosewood, Kevin held several senior positions within the realms of finance and investment. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Chow Tai Fook Education Group (CTFEG) in Hong Kong, where he led the day-to-day management of the Group, set its overall strategy, developed its infrastructure, integrated existing businesses and acquired two education companies that further expanded the Group’s reach. Kevin previously spent nearly a decade in Beijing establishing his career in finance and investment as a senior executive at both public and private companies inclusive of major real estate funds and financial institutions. He began his career in New York in the principal investment area, first as an associate at Morgan Stanley and later as Vice President at Citigroup.
Throughout Kevin’s career, he has served on the Board of Directors for a variety of businesses and institutions. Currently, he sits on the boards Noah Education Holdings Ltd., an operator of kindergarten schooling; Happiest Baby, a technology company dedicated to identifying solutions for parents; and Shih Hsin University, a private university in Taipei. This wide-ranging set of organizations underscores Kevin’s vast expertise not only in finance and operations, but education, technology, and retail. His knowledge and passion for innovation solidify his potential to lead Rosewood Hotel Group’s finance team toward continued global success.
