Perry Lane Hotel, located in Savannah’s historic downtown, announced today the appointment of Aaron Baxendale as Director of Food and Beverage. Known for its world-class accommodations, southern hospitality and culinary excellence, the quintessential Savannah hotel is pleased to welcome Baxendale to the executive team leading the charge and overseeing the operations of all food and beverage outlets.
With 20 years of hospitality experience, Baxendale has an extensive roster of food and beverage leadership experience working for luxury hotels and resorts across the U.S. He brings his vast expertise to his role of Director of Food and Beverage of Perry Lane, most recently holding roles as Director of Food and Beverage at the acclaimed Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, HI, and Director of Food and Beverage of W Hotel-Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, he has experience as Executive Sous Chef of The Ritz-Carlton Bachelors Gulch in Colorado, Chef de Cuisine of The Ritz-Carlton, Reynolds Lake Oconee, experience at The Greenbrier Resort, and more.
At Perry Lane Hotel, he will be responsible for the successful operation of signature restaurant Emporium Kitchen; premier rooftop bar and lounge, Peregrin; eclectic cocktail bar, The Wayward; and Bowerbird Coffee.
A driven leader, Baxendale is dedicated to bringing his attention to the guests’ experience to the forefront of his role, a staple in the hospitality business. In addition to overseeing operations, Baxendale will be accountable for managing financial activities for all food and beverage outlets including budgeting and forecasts, developing relationships with vendors, purchasing, developing and training staff, and fostering an unparalleled level of quality service.
