The Duniway has announced the appointment of Lemmy Cooper as Director of Food and Beverage.
In his new role, Cooper will provide strategic leadership to the culinary teams and oversee execution of the hotel’s food and beverage concepts, including Jackrabbit and the new guest-only rooftop, Abigail’s Hideaway. Cooper has nearly 20 years of hospitality experience to guide The Duniway’s unique culinary programs, which are centred on creativity, innovation and guest satisfaction.
Prior to his role at The Duniway, Cooper spent six years at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants in Portland, Oregon as regional director of F+B Operations where he successfully oversaw all facets of both front and back of house operations of nine unique restaurant concepts. He concurrently managed seven teams of General Managers, Executive Chefs and Directors of Catering proving his leadership capabilities. Cooper began his career as Director of Catering for the Hood River Hotel, Oregon in 2001 before moving on to manage the daily operations at Pazzo Ristorante as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Cooper also gained invaluable industry experience as the General Manager of Red Star Tavern during his five-year tenure from 2008 to 2013.

Cooper is fluent in both English and Spanish and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon.
