The Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) announces that the first annual Vacation Rental Week will kick off in March 2020, with the goal of recognizing and promoting the value and benefits of the vacation rental industry.

“Vacation rentals provide consumers with options for more personalized, economical travel experiences,” said Mike Copps, executive director of VRMA. “With programs such as Vacation Rental Week, VRMA is showcasing the opportunities that professionally managed vacation rentals create for travelers, property owners and local economies.”
Despite Gallup polling that shows 62 percent of Americans have taken a vacation away from home in the past year, many consumers are still unaware of the value, convenience and reliability of professionally managed vacation rentals. Vacation Rental Week will raise the awareness of consumers, property owners and policymakers about the benefits of vacation rentals.
The first Vacation Rental Week will take place March 9-13, 2020, with special activities planned to highlight a different aspect of the industry each day.
“Professionally managed vacation rentals are significant sources of income for property owners, key contributors to job creation, and drivers of strong, stable real estate markets and local economies,” said Copps. “Vacation Rental Week will provide another tool for educating consumers and key stakeholders about the benefits of vacation rentals in 2020, and well beyond.”
