Hospitality veteran Henry Sirois takes the helm as general manager of The Wentworth, a 61-room inn located in the majestic White Mountains of Jackson, NH. Sirois brings more than 25 years of experience in hotels, resorts, and restaurants to his new position.
As the newly appointed general manager, Sirois will oversee all operations of the inn. He’ll provide leadership and strategic direction to all property departments and will guide the historic inn through its next phase of evolution, that includes completion of a full-scale renovation.
In making the announcement, Jonathan Hoenig, managing partner and CEO of Atlantic Equity Partners, owner of the property, commented, “The Wentworth is fortunate to have Henry join the team. Henry is an accomplished, guest-focused leader. His experience with properties of similar size and structure will be a notable advantage as we continue to elevate and build an unmatched guest experience at the hotel.”
With a deep expertise in luxury hospitality, Sirois most recently served as the general manager of the Terramor Outdoor Resort, the first luxury glamping from Kampgrounds of America (KOA) in Bar Harbor, ME, in Acadia National Park. He has held numerous general manager positions for properties in the Northeast including Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron, NY; Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside in Portsmouth, NH; Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, ME; and Captain Daniel Stone Inn in Brunswick, ME.
Earlier in his career, Sirois was the director of operations and rooms for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts properties in Québec, Zanzibar, and South Africa. He also owned and operated Sirois’ Restaurant, located in Fort Kent, ME, for seven years.
Sirois holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality administration and management from Johnson & Wales University.
