Hilton Manila recently announced the appointment of John Lucas as its general manager. He will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 356-guestroom luxury hotel situated in the heart of Resorts World Manila.

A 30-year hospitality veteran, Lucas brings with him extensive Hilton experience leading teams across multiple venues in all facets of Commercial and Operational divisions. He began his hotel career with Hilton properties in Australia and New Zealand then moving to General Manager for Hilton and DoubleTree Cairns and Area General Manager for Hilton Northern Territory. From there he oversaw the pre-opening and operations of Hilton Port Moresby and Convention Centre in Papua New Guinea and most recently the post refurbishment opening of Parmelia Hilton Perth.
