VidantaWorld, Grupo Vidanta’s luxury tourism and entertainment platform bringing together accommodations, dining, golf and live entertainment across destinations in Mexico, today presented VidantaWorld’s BON (Beauty of Nature), the world’s first luxury theme park, to the international travel industry at World Travel Market London. BON takes that offering further by combining the excitement of a theme park with the comfort and hospitality of a luxury destination, giving guests across generations more ways to enjoy one vacation together. Located at VidantaWorld Vallarta – Nuevo Nayarit, BON began a phased, guest-exclusive Private Soft Opening on October 24, ahead of opening to the general public in 2027.
With an investment of approximately USD 1.5 billion, VidantaWorld’s BON reimagines what a theme park can be: a place where world-class attractions, immersive worlds, original stories, dining and hospitality converge under a new vision of luxury, designed to be enjoyed across generations. Rather than drawing on existing characters or franchises, BON built its own universe, with original characters and stories brought to life across its seven themed worlds.
The name Beauty of Nature reflects the idea at the heart of BON: here, nature is not simply the backdrop, but the protagonist of the experience. BON draws its inspiration from Mexico’s extraordinary natural richness, from its lush jungles and shimmering lagoons to its spectacular landscapes, as well as from its rich mythology. To bring that vision to life, BON brought together eight of the industry’s most respected manufacturers and will feature more than 20 attractions across seven themed worlds once complete, along with restaurants, lounges and boutiques.
At BON, luxury is measured not only by what visitors can experience, but by how they experience it. During the Private Soft Opening, the park operates from 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, with deliberately limited capacity, allowing guests to explore with more space, more time and a different pace to enjoy its attractions, dining and service.
VidantaWorld’s BON is gradually unveiling its universe. During the Private Soft Opening, guests can already step into its first themed worlds, alongside Cirque du Soleil LUDÕ, the show that extends the magic of VidantaWorld’s BON beyond its attractions. New experiences are set to come to life starting in December, with the addition of Arc of Guardians, Marivela Wonder Gliders, Floranova Spin and Izari’s Flight, while Crystal Star Plaza will gradually reveal its full magic as the park continues to evolve toward 2027.
“For decades, theme parks have taught us to think in terms of more attractions, more people and more rush. With BON we wanted to propose something different: more space, more time, more service and the freedom to experience everything at your own pace. That is our way of understanding luxury, and we believe it can open an entirely new category for the industry. BON was born in Mexico, but it was conceived from the start as a central piece of VidantaWorld’s complete offering,” said Iván Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta.
VidantaWorld’s BON within VidantaWorld
BON was not born in isolation. It is part of VidantaWorld, the luxury tourism and entertainment platform developed by Grupo Vidanta in Mexico. For more than five decades, Grupo Vidanta has brought together hospitality, dining, golf, live entertainment and travel experiences in destinations such as VidantaWorld Vallarta – Nuevo Nayarit and Riviera Maya. It is that combination, not the attractions alone, that makes it possible, for the first time, to conceive of a theme park built to luxury standards.
VidantaWorld’s portfolio brings together more than 13 luxury hospitality brands, including The Estates and Grand Luxxe; seven golf courses, including the home of the VidantaWorld Mexico Open on the PGA TOUR; Jungala Aqua Experience; the VidantaWorld Concert Series; the mega-yacht VidantaWorld’s ELEGANT; and two resident Cirque du Soleil shows.
Live entertainment is also an essential part of that vision. Grupo Vidanta’s partnership with Cirque du Soleil began with JOYÀ, staged at VidantaWorld Riviera Maya since 2014, and continued in 2025 with LUDÕ, conceived from the outset as an integral part of the universe of VidantaWorld’s BON. With more than 40 artists from over 20 countries, LUDÕ combines live performance, visual storytelling and dining in a theater built especially for the show within the park. LUDÕ invites guests to extend the evening with an experience booked separately from park admission.
The road to 2027
From October 2026 through 2027, BON will continue unveiling new attractions, experiences and surprises one by one before opening its doors to the general public. For the international travel industry gathered this week in London, 2027 will mark a second chapter: VidantaWorld’s BON will move from being an experience available exclusively to VidantaWorld guests to welcoming visitors from around the world, joining the offering that tour operators, wholesalers and specialized agencies can bring to their own clients.
VidantaWorld’s BON will thus become part of a complete destination where the park coexists with luxury accommodations, golf, dining, beach and live entertainment within the same property. VidantaWorld’s BON is a new reason to travel to VidantaWorld, and VidantaWorld turns that visit into a complete vacation experience.
