Remington Hospitality, an innovative and dynamic top-rated third-party hotel management company, announced today the addition of the Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego Hotel to its third-party management portfolio.

The 14-story, 260-room full-service hotel is scheduled to undergo a comprehensive renovation and is expected to be converted to the Hyatt Regency brand upon completion later this year. The property features a business center, fitness center, outdoor pool, club lounge, on-site restaurant and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

“This is an excellent addition to our third-party management portfolio,” said Ben Perelmuter, CEO, Remington Hospitality. “The soon to be Hyatt Regency Mission Valley benefits from a highly accessible location, a diverse mix of demand generators, and a clear vision for the asset’s future. With its strong meeting space and upcoming renovation, the hotel is well-positioned for long-term success. We look forward to supporting the property’s evolution and driving meaningful results.”

Located in the heart of Mission Valley, the hotel offers guests convenient access to the San Diego International Airport, San Diego State University, Snapdragon Stadium, and iconic attractions, including SeaWorld, Balboa Park, and the San Diego Zoo.

Following a transformational renovation of the property, the hotel is expected to convert to the Hyatt Regency brand by the end of the year. All guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, public areas, food-and-beverage outlets, and overall guest experience will reposition the property at the top of the San Diego market. The hotel will remain open throughout the renovation process.

The addition reflects Remington’s continued growth as a third-party manager and its focus on partnering with owners undertaking strategic repositioning and value-enhancement initiatives. The forthcoming Hyatt Regency Mission Valley further expands the company’s portfolio of full-service hotels and reinforces Remington’s focus on helping owners maximize asset performance through operational excellence, commercial strategy, and disciplined execution.
