Remington Hospitality, an innovative and dynamic top-rated third-party hotel management company, announced today the appointment of Melissa Arana as Senior Vice President of Revenue Strategy. In this role, Arana will oversee revenue strategy across a portfolio of Remington-managed hotels, partnering with operations and sales leadership to set revenue budgets, RevPAR Index targets, and negotiated segment strategies, while developing the company’s revenue strategy leaders.
Arana brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience in commercial strategy, revenue management, business intelligence, and analytics across multi-property hotel portfolios. She joins Remington from HVMG, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Revenue Performance and Analytics, leading revenue, marketing, and analytics strategy across the company’s hotel portfolio.
During her 15 years with HVMG, Arana held a series of commercial leadership roles, including Vice President of Revenue Strategy, Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy for the company’s Select Brands portfolio, and Regional Director of Revenue Management. In these positions, she played a key role in evolving the company’s commercial platform, helping to transform decision-making through data, technology, forecasting, and performance optimization. Her leadership focuses on aligning revenue management, sales, marketing, and analytics to drive profitable growth and maximize value for hotel owners and stakeholders.

Arana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M International University and is fluent in English and Spanish.
