This winter, TRIBE Auckland Fort Street has partnered with iconic Auckland record store Real Groovy to launch TRIBE Vinyl Club – a new cultural programme featuring in-lobby and in-store listening stations, and a series of monthly vinyl sessions at the hotel’s in-house restaurant and bar, Sienna.

Anchored in the idea of slowing down and reconnecting through sound, TRIBE Vinyl Club brings analogue sound into the everyday rhythm of the hotel, transforming TRIBE Auckland into a cultural meeting point for guests, locals, music lovers and city visitors.

The Pacific first launch follows a successful rollout in some of Europe’s most vibrant cultural hubs, including London, Paris and Budapest, where TRIBE Vinyl Club has become a signature expression of the brand’s focus on music, design and social connection. Now arriving in Auckland, the experience will allow guests to browse a rotating selection of local and international records curated by Real Groovy to rediscover the ritual of truly listening.

Real Groovy brings an expert ear to the partnership, curating the rotating collections of vinyls that will be available to enjoy at both the hotel listening station and in-store at Real Groovy, whilst also becoming the exclusive New Zealand retailer of TRIBE’s limited-edition global LP, New Grounds.

This partnership lets us do what Real Groovy does best, connect people with great music in another corner of Auckland,” says Dan Bali, Marketing Manager at Real Groovy. “Curating a rotating vinyl selection with TRIBE is a nice way to help people discover their next favourite record.”

The collection will also feature TRIBE’s own limited-edition global LP, New Grounds. The record brings together artists including Khruangbin, Danny Brown, Brian Eno, John Cale, Martina Topley-Bird and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, alongside four unreleased tracks created exclusively for TRIBE.

“Music has always had the power to bring people together, but vinyl adds something tactile and present to the experience,” says Adrian Williams, Chief Operating Officer, Accor Pacific. “With TRIBE Vinyl Club, we’re creating a space where guests can discover new sounds, reconnect with favourite records and experience music as something to be felt, shared and remembered.”

Designed as more than a nostalgic nod to the past, TRIBE Vinyl Club celebrates bringing music back into the centre of hotel spaces. The TRIBE Auckland listening station has been outfitted with thoughtfully selected furniture and premium audio equipment, seamlessly integrating into the hotel’s social, design-led space as a relaxed gathering point for guests.

“TRIBE is a social hotel built around connection, culture and the vibrance of urban life,” says Antonela Comuzio, General Manager TRIBE Auckland. “TRIBE Vinyl Club brings that spirit to life – transforming music from background ambience into a more intentional and shared cultural experience within the heart of our hotel.”

Extending the experience beyond the lobby, TRIBE Auckland will also host a series of monthly TRIBE Vinyl Club listening parties at Sienna, the hotel’s all-day So-Cal-inspired eatery and bar, from August through October 2026.

The sessions, held on the first Thursday of each month, will bring together local music lovers, culture seekers and city visitors for a monthly ritual of analogue sound, food, drinks and community. Hosted by a rotating line-up of musicians, DJs and culture makers, guests can settle in with limited-edition music inspired cocktails and tunes, creating an easy winter ritual for vinyl obsessives, casual listeners, and anyone looking for something new to do in the city.

Located in the heart of Auckland’s downtown precinct, TRIBE Auckland Fort Street is within easy reach of some of the city’s most-loved live music venues, including Spark Arena and The Tuning Fork, making it an ideal base for those visiting for gigs, festivals and cultural weekends.

The TRIBE Vinyl Club listening station is now available in the lobby at TRIBE Auckland Fort Street, with monthly Thursday evening sessions running from August to October 2026 at Sienna.
