The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, on Lake Oconee, Georgia, is now offering an exclusive songwriting service for bridal couples. Those getting married at one of the resort’s venues such as the Sandy Creek Barn, Lakeside Lawn or The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom may have a personalized song created by a famed songwriter of their choosing to debut at their wedding.
Celebrated writers from Nashville to Los Angeles, with accolades including Grammy Awards, Tony Awards and Billboard “Top 10” hits, have been specifically-selected to participate in this one-of-a-kind experience. Couples may choose among R&B, pop and country songwriters with some of the most renowned romance songs in their respective genres on their creative repertoires, including Phil Maderia, writer of “Maybe” for Garth Brooks; Gordon Kennedy, who wrote “Change the World” for Eric Clapton; Charlie Peacock, the creative force behind “Every Heartbeat” for Amy Grant; and Wayne Kirkpatrick, writer of the soundtrack for the 10-time Tony nominated Broadway show, Something Rotten.
Couples will review the works of each artist and choose their talented partner for this journey based on their personal musical tastes, or meet with the team to be expertly paired with a writer to ensure there is a creative connection. The couple and songwriter will then begin the personalized process with an introduction and a one-on-one virtual meeting. Once the artist meets the couple and develops an understanding of their unique relationship, he or she will begin creating a sentimental song that perfectly matches the pair.
“We are beyond ecstatic to introduce the Wedding Song option for couples who have chosen The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation as the backdrop for their special day,” said Robin Kreitner, the resort’s wedding advisor. “This offer is one-of-a-kind and brings our wedding services to a level unmatched by any venue in the country. Couples who take advantage of the offer will have an original wedding keepsake that will hold a special place in their hearts for a lifetime.”
Depending on the artist selected, the service starts at $5,000 and includes one appointment with the writer, one demo version of the song, a digital copy of the completed song and a keepsake gold record. The digital version of the song is a truly unique and romantic wedding favor or thank you note addition. If the couple wishes to hire the writer or artist to perform the song at their north Georgia wedding, the resort can arrange this at the venue for an additional fee.
