IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has announced the signing of a management agreement with Siddhya Hotels & Resorts Pvt Ltd. for the development of Holiday Inn Resort Kufri. Set to open in 2026, the signing aligns with IHG’s expansion strategy in India and build on its commitment to provide diverse and exceptional hospitality experiences across leisure destinations in the country.
Holiday Inn is one of the most loved and recognized hotel brands in the world with over 70 years of history. Having seen phenomenal success in India, the brand aims to provide quality, consistent, and authentic experience to travellers. Once opened, Holiday Inn Resort Kufri will embody these core values, delivering a travel experience that caters to both leisure and corporate guests.
The new-build resort will be situated in one of the most scenic towns in the district of Shimla, Kufri, which is known for its breath-taking mountain and forest views, and is well-connected by road to Shimla, Chandigarh, and the rest of North India. Enhancing the guest experience further, Holiday Inn Resort Kufri will be situated on a hilltop and will offer panoramic views of the mountains. The resort’s prime location will also offer easy access to these key destinations, ensuring a seamless travel experience. The resort will be well poised to cater to the robust demand from independent travellers, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE), and wedding segments throughout the year.
Holiday Inn Resort Kufri will feature 100 well-appointed keys, including 10 exclusive suites. Guests will enjoy a variety of dining options with four F&B outlets and a spa: an All-Day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge and bar, destination bar, and a pool bar. For social gatherings and corporate meetings, the resort will be equipped with four versatile meeting and event spaces, including a grand ballroom to accommodate high demand coming from the weddings segment. For guests to unwind and relax, there will be a fully equipped gym, a pool, and retail spaces.
