Highgate, a leading hotel management, investment and development company, has appointed Daniel Texeira as General Manager of AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu. In his new role, Texeira will oversee all operations and management of the newest property in the AC Hotels by Marriott portfolio, scheduled to open January 2024.
With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Texeira joins AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu from ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, where he held multiple positions over the past four years, most recently serving as Director of Operations. Prior, he served as Performance Development Manager for Marriott International in Hawaii. Texeira has also held positions at Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa in Waikiki Beach and Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa on Oahu.
