Neoma launches anonymous contact tracing to help hoteliers give their guests and staff peace of mind
Neoma rolled out new functionality within its AI staff assistant Gaia to facilitate anonymous contact tracing. Leveraging its core AI and location-based services, the company enabled a contactless experience that allows for predictive social distancing-based alerts to staff and anonymous contact tracing.
The new Gaia module allows a rapid deployment of contact tracing functionality on property, bringing a number of new features for hoteliers:
- Social-distancing alerts: Using Gaia’s predictive AI, we can send proactive notifications to staff when certain areas are at risk of overcrowding
- Anonymous contact tracing: Through private location histories, in the event a guest becomes ill, managers can draw up a list of other guests (by room number) and staff who have been in close proximity
- Contactless experience: As with Gaia’s core feature of guest recognition, the new features require no new touchpoint between guests and staff in order to provide full coverage
This Gaia module helps hoteliers reduce financial costs in the event of illness, ensure compliance with local health regulations, and bring reassurance to both the guests and staff.
