Loews Hotels & Co, co-owner and operator of the hotel portfolio at Universal Orlando Resort, announces the much-anticipated opening date of the company’s third hotel coming to Universal Epic Universe next year. Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel will start taking reservations October 22 for bookings beginning May 22, 2025.
The company is in the midst of unprecedented growth as it prepares to also open Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort in 2025. Bringing the Orlando hotel portfolio to a total of 11 hotels and 11,000 guest rooms, Universal Helios Grand Hotel combines Loews Hotels’ hospitality and service excellence with Universal’s expertise in world-class entertainment and creative theming to set a new standard in immersive hotel experiences.
“Our vision for Helios Grand Hotel is to create one of the finest, most immersive entertainment destination resort hotels in the world that is fully integrated with Universal Orlando Resort,” says Alex Tisch, President and CEO of Loews Hotels & Co. “The three hotel openings in the first half of 2025 will be yet another significant milestone for Loews Hotels & Co.”
Universal Epic Universe is the most ambitious theme park Universal Destinations and Experiences has ever created. Anchoring the park is Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel – a majestic 500-room property that will offer one-of-a-kind views of the park and feature its very own dedicated entrance into Epic Universe for hotel guests (valid theme park admission required).
Guests will step into a radiant sanctuary adorned with beautiful details of celestial patterns, dazzling constellations and elegant yet casual Mediterranean design elements. Through the lobby’s magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows is a breathtaking view of Celestial Park – boasting some of the best views of Epic Universe in the entire hotel and immersing guests in the park’s brilliance from day to night.
The addition of Universal Helios Grand Hotel also brings three reimagined hotel categories to Universal Orlando Resort, designed to make it easier for guests to choose the hotel that best fits their vacation style and budget.
