OYO to open up-market first business hotel in India

OYO Hotels & Homes announced that it has partnered with Mountainia Developers, a partner company, to open the doors to its first upmarket business hotel in India – a 64-suites building near Ellis Bridge in Ahmedabad which will be operated under OYO brand by redesigning it into a premium upmarket hotel.

Located in the business center of the city, the premium offering will primarily cater to business travelers seeking a high-quality hospitality experience but doesn’t disappoint leisure travelers either. With this, OYO plans to add to its offerings across the economy to upscale segments, and thereby further strengthening its industry-first customer strategy. With its new upmarket brand, OYO aims to offer customers a new, young vibrant ambiance to relax and rejuvenate while keeping true to its core promise of providing quality and comfortable stays.

OYO Hotels & Homes will be working with partner companies like Mountainia Developers, which will help acquire the assets, while OYO leverages its core expertise in property onboarding, renovation and redesigning using its world-leading tech-enabled interior designing capabilities, and revenue management (pricing, and yield) services.

Offering a perfect amalgamation of business and leisure, OYO’s first upscale building in Ahmedabad is designed to offer a delightful experience.  This building is situated in the vicinity of the airport and railway station and features beautifully designed wooden floored rooms. Amenities include – modern furniture, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, telephone, wardrobe, and free Wi-Fi access.

For business travelers, the hotel promises corporate-friendly facilities like lavish breakfast spread, complimentary airport pickup, mini-fridge and tea coffee maker, valet parking, amongst others. The well-appointed suites are categorized as Deluxe, Classic, and Presidential Suites. To cater to the meetings and banquet needs of the guests, there are five Banquet Halls and Boardroom within the premises and will be operated under  OYO owned Weddingz.in brand.

The building is one of the wellness-oriented assets in the neighborhood and will also sport a wellness center that includes spa & gym facilities to help guests enjoy some downtime. While staying, guests can explore the famous Sabarmati Ashram, Kankaria Lake and Jaldhara Water World that are all within a 5 km radius. It will also have restaurants and coffee shops, that will undergo a complete transformation (from the menu to look and feel) designed for both outstation guests and city dwellers.
