DoubleTree by Hilton opens DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca in Mexico

Hilton has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca, marking the brand’s first property in Toluca, the capital of the State of Mexico, in Mexico. Owned by Jesus Henkel and managed by Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, the 142-room new-build hotel boasts one of the largest event spaces in the state’s business district of Toluca, reaching more than 17,000 square feet.

Redefining business travel with modern amenities and quality accommodations, DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca features two restaurants – La Reforma Uno with authentic Mexican dishes and Pizza & Pasta Corner for a creative take on Italian cuisine – along with a coffee shop and lobby bar with a wide variety of beers, wines and liquors. Guests can also take advantage of an indoor swimming pool, fully-equipped fitness center, business center, and flexible event space including 11 meeting rooms and four ballrooms.

Situated near industrial plants for international pharmaceutical and automobile companies, DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca provides travelers with a convenient location just six miles away from Toluca International Airport and less than 32 miles from Santa Fe, Mexico City. Guests can explore Cosmovitral Botanical Garden which features a diverse collection of foliage and water features, as well as The Museum Torres Bicentario to immerse in the country’s rich culture. Those feeling adventurous can take a hike up Nevado de Toluca, Mexico’s fourth highest peak and one of the only places to see snow in the country.
