The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas is pleased to announce the appointment of Chad-Jan Neuman as Executive Chef. With more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality and high-volume culinary operations, Chef Neuman will oversee the resort’s culinary program, including its restaurants, banquets, and special dining experiences, while continuing to elevate its food and beverage offerings.
Chef Neuman brings an extensive background in luxury hospitality, having held senior positions including Senior Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Culinary Director. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for thoughtful menu development, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to team leadership. A graduate in Culinary Arts, he has extensive experience across premium dining, large-scale banquet production, and diverse hospitality operations.
Known for his collaborative leadership style, Chef Neuman is passionate about developing high-performing, multicultural teams and creating dining experiences that balance creativity, quality, and a strong sense of place.
Chef Neuman’s connection to the resort began with a visit to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, where he presented a tasting experience that showcased his culinary philosophy, attention to detail, and creative approach. The presentation made a lasting impression and reflected a shared vision for the continued evolution of the resort’s dining program.
In his new role, Chef Neuman will guide the culinary team in creating distinctive experiences inspired by creativity, seasonality, and exceptional craftsmanship, further strengthening the resort’s position as a leading luxury destination in the Caribbean.
