Black Desert Resort, the AAA Four Diamond luxury destination set amid the ancient lava fields of Greater Zion and managed by CoralTree Hospitality, is proud to announce the appointment of Dani Stern as President of Hospitality Operations.
A seasoned hotelier with more than 30 years of industry experience, Stern brings a distinguished record of leadership spanning the hospitality and real estate sectors. He began his leadership career with DoubleTree Hotels in 1998, steadily rising through a series of leadership roles that included four general manager positions, followed by successful tenures as general manager at the JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek, The Westin Westminster, and The Wigwam, a 54-hole golf resort managed under the Starwood Luxury Collection during his time there.
Stern’s extensive executive background includes senior leadership roles at Amstar Group, Two Roads Hospitality, Griffis Residential, and Sage Hospitality Group. He most recently served in a corporate role as Senior Vice President at CoralTree Hospitality. Throughout his career, Stern has developed his expertise across all areas of resort and hotel operations as well as ownership-level asset management and performance strategy.
Stern’s career is defined by an unwavering standard of excellence, backed by a degree from Virginia Tech, graduating Suma Cum Laude, and a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the prestigious Institut Hôtelier César Ritz in Montreux, Switzerland, graduating with honors.
As Black Desert Resort cements its reputation as one of the Southwest’s premier luxury destinations, Stern will focus on perfecting day-to-day guest experiences and elevating service standards through continued collaboration with Reef Capital Partners and CoralTree Hospitality.
