El Cortez Hotel & Casino has appointed Bart Mahoney as Vice President of Hospitality, adding a seasoned executive to its leadership team as the historic Downtown Las Vegas property celebrates its 85th anniversary.
Mahoney brings more than 20 years of experience, with previous roles at Resorts World, Golden Entertainment, and Wynn Resorts. At El Cortez, he will oversee all food and beverage operations, with a focus on anticipated updates to the property’s main restaurant, Siegel’s 1941.
The appointment follows El Cortez’s $20M expansion last year and supports the property’s next chapter, including planned 2026 renovations, as it continues to evolve while preserving its classic Vegas character.
