With an international hospitality background spanning seven countries, Min spent his formative years with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Beijing, Bangkok, Oman, Dubai, and Myanmar. He has also played key roles in opening several hotels and restaurants worldwide, bringing deep expertise in operational strategy, team leadership, and elevated guest service.
“Food and beverage are central to how guests and locals connect with our property and the memories they create while dining and staying with us,” said Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs General Manager Peggy Trott. “Joseph’s leadership, creativity, and international perspective, coupled with his passion for hospitality, make him an exceptional addition to our executive team as we continue to evolve our culinary offerings.”
Born in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and raised between Yangon (formerly Rangoon) and Singapore, Min holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from SHATEC Singapore. He has also pursued advanced wine education through WSET and the Court of Master Sommeliers.
“I’m excited to join Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs and be part of a brand defined by exceptional people and a distinctive culture,” said Min. “Palm Springs has a vibrant social and culinary landscape. The opportunity to collaborate with such a dynamic team while creating memorable dining experiences for guests and the local community is incredibly inspiring.”
