Four Seasons announces today the appointment of Diego Angarita as General Manager of Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, a new luxury resort along the Gulf Coast, set to debut in Fall 2025. Owned and developed by Athens Group and BDT & MSD Partners, L.P., Naples Beach Club sits on the site of the beloved former Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club.
As General Manager, Angarita will oversee the resort’s 215 accommodations, which include 47 suites, 58 luxury condominiums in three new beachside residential buildings, and 95 luxury condominiums in five golf course residential buildings.
With more than 20 years of experience with Four Seasons, Angarita will bring strong leadership to the property, breathing new life and luxury into a renowned hospitality landmark. Born in Colombia but raised in Puerto Vallarta along the Pacific coast of Mexico, Angarita grew up in a hotel family, moving where his father’s assignments took him and becoming familiar with operations along the way.
He studied hospitality at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, secured an internship with Four Seasons, and has been with the company ever since. Starting at the Front Desk in Punta Mita, his journey continued to housekeeping management in the Bahamas, and then to Director of Rooms in Las Vegas. After success in the same capacity at Hualalai in Hawaii, Angarita was promoted to Resort Manager in Anguilla as the property was reflagging to Four Seasons, and then became Hotel Manager in Los Angeles as that property earned its Five-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide. He later returned to Anguilla as General Manager, and by 2023, had led the Resort to the first of two Five-Star ratings before his transfer to Naples.
With Angarita’s earlier experience at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, his latest appointment symbolizes a homecoming to the property portfolio of BDT & MSD Partners, L.P.
