Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver proudly appoints Michelle Martinez as the new Director of Sales. With over 18 years of experience in various capacities, primarily in sales, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep-rooted passion for hospitality to the sales team at one of Denver’s top-ranking boutique lifestyle hotels.

Martinez’s educational and professional background has prepared her for her new role at Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver. Martinez graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Master of Science in Business Management. She started her career in hospitality in 2005 at the front desk at Courtyard by Marriot Stapleton, Denver. She quickly transitioned into a sales role and progressed from Sales Coordinator to Director of Sales. This is her first Hyatt property, adding a new dimension to her extensive experience, including boutique and independent hotels.

Martinez has supported various hospitality companies across the nation with sales and staffing. Recently, she served as the Director of Sales and Business Development at Monarch Casino Resort Spa after her roles as Director Of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for Aimbridge Hospitality Group and Senior Sales Manager at The Oxford Hotel and The Crawford Hotel in Denver.

Martinez’s core responsibilities at Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver include managing accounts, preparing presentations and proposals, servicing client needs, maintaining synergy with other hotel departments, and supporting the sales team to meet group and business sales goals.
