SH Hotels & Resorts, the sustainable hotel brand management company that operates 1 Hotels, the mission driven luxury
lifestyle hotel brand inspired by nature; Baccarat Hotels; and Treehouse Hotels, announces the appointment of Pranav Jampani as Vice President of Sustainability. In this role, Jampani will lead the company’s sustainability efforts, leveraging more than 15 years of experience in corporate sustainability and responsibility to reinforce SH Hotels & Resorts’ position as a leader in sustainable hospitality.
Jampani will take the lead in advancing sustainability efforts across SH Hotels & Resorts, with a primary focus on 1 Hotels, the first mission-driven luxury hospitality brand. To date, the brand has offset over 23,000 tons of CO2, donated over numerous to charitable partners including NRDC, Oceanic Global, The Nature Conservancy and Housing Works and ensured all properties meet or work towards LEED or BREEAM Certification. Jampani will enhance the brand’s sustainably minded initiatives including energy tracking, carbon neutrality, and ambitious zero waste goals. Currently, the food & beverage teams across all properties are working to achieve 90% waste diversion. He will also guide a newly introduced brand-wide initiative, “Certified Sustainable Gatherings,” which empowers clients to create fully eco-conscious events with third-party certification.
As a certified energy manager, Jampani has a proven history of implementing premier sustainability programs for Fortune 500 companies. He has successfully managed a range of projects with a combined budget of over $2 billion, securing LEED certifications for more than 20 million square feet of property. His skill in executing enhancement strategies, driving cost efficiencies, and generating revenue opportunities have directly contributed to the notable recognition of several major corporations within the sustainability sector.

Jampani joins SH Hotels & Resorts from Venetian Las Vegas Gaming, where he was the Head of Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility and led the global ESG programs for some of the world’s largest integrated resorts. Prior, he supported utilities and regulatory agencies with energy efficiency and sustainability programs in over ten U.S. states. Jampani has earned numerous accolades, including the BITSAA Global 30 Under 30 Leadership and NHLA Stars of the Industry Sustainability Leader, and was selected for several prestigious leadership programs.
