Koula has a wealth of experience, having held a number of senior positions within Bourne Leisure and has most recently been working as Finance Director at Oakman Inns & Restaurants Ltd. Koula will help inject commerciality, whilst driving a culture of continuous improvement, change management, and people development to drive the business forward.

– Group Head of Marketing

Jessica Marsh was appointed as Group Head of Marketing for Luxury Family Hotels in March 2023. Bringing experience from roles at other hotels and from her consultancy work, Jessica will be leading the marketing efforts to establish Luxury Family Hotels as the go-to staycation brand for the modern family. Brand partnerships will be a focus for this coming year, with exciting plans with Yoto, Bugaboo and Jo Jo Maman Bebe to be announced soon.

Steph Andr – Deputy General Manager at Fowey Hall

Steph Andr recently joined the team at Fowey Hall as Deputy General Manager and brings with her extensive F&B experience from The Pig, The Connaught, and The Rick Stein Group. With the hotel capacity increasing from 36 to 60 bedrooms over the coming weeks following an extensive refurbishment, Steph will play an integral part in the senior leadership team.

Fowey Hall, a Victorian mansion overlooking the Fowey estuary, will relaunch in late spring this year after undergoing a significant multi-Steph Andrmillion-pound renovation to offer a host of new rooms, suites, and facilities. After a full property refurbishment in 2020, a further 20 contemporary bedrooms will be added, and – the jewel in the crown – four brand new Bay Suites will sit atop the renovated spa, with commanding sea views from elevated, private balconies. The suites, taking a consciously ‘quiet’ approach to detailing that allows the viewer to be the main focus, are contemporary in design and boast natural, earthy materials and textures that are perfectly complemented by warm accents of brass and burnt orange upholstery. As with the work in 2020, StudioJill has been at the design helm of the property’s overhaul. A new outdoor pool will also open with sea views, making Fowey Hall one of the very few luxury hotels on the south Cornish coast to offer this facility.

Overlooking Chesil Beach on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, Moonfleet Manor has undergone a series of substantial renovations over the last few years, with the latest phase set to be complete by this May. Designed by StudioJill, the interiors have been completely re-imagined, with inspiration from the property’s heritage and coastal setting. One of the additions that will be unveiled this spring is the new Fleethouse rooms, which will have the most impressive views of the fleet and beyond. Last year, a brand new Science Room also opened, where children can learn how to experiment, alongside the existing Escape Rooms, a first for a UK hotel. These rooms form part of the hotel’s extensive activity hub, a rare find in a luxury British hotel, and a welcome retreat in inclement weather, featuring a traversing wall, skittle alley, retro arcade games, crazy golf, and a play area for under 5s.

Other properties in the collection include Woolley Grange, a Jacobean manor house in historic Bradford-upon-Avon, just outside Bath, with indoor and outdoor pools, a child-friendly spa, a walled garden, and a variety of interconnecting room configurations to suit families of all sizes; New Park Manor in the New Forest, which also offers a child-friendly spa, indoor and outdoor pools as well as a hot tub with a view and finally, The Ickworth in Suffolk, set in 1,800 acres of National Trust parkland, featuring play areas and tennis courts.

Each of the hotels in the Luxury Family Hotels collection is designed for families of every kind, offering all the little things required to ensure an enjoyable, relaxing, and memory-making stay. From babies through to teens, expectant parents to grandparents, and even dog owners, all age groups and families of every genre are thoughtfully considered and catered for with an incredible range of amenities and facilities. From a milk butler service with the delivery of sterilized and heated bottles of milk and the provision of all the equipment parents could need, to dedicated children’s libraries for grandparents to reconnect with little ones and cinemas with daily screenings, Luxury Family Hotels encourage families to spend quality time together, safe in the knowledge that all the little things are taken care of.

Each property offers 90 minutes of complimentary childcare per night’s stay at their on-site Ofsted-registered Four Bears Den, swimming pools, wellness facilities, and indoor and outdoor play areas. Most properties also have animals on-site, so guests can pop by to say hello or join in with the daily feeding. The restaurants at Luxury Family Hotels feature classic dishes for the whole family, with ingredients from local suppliers or the kitchen gardens, as well as cozy nooks for evening drinks once the children are tucked up in bed, watching a film in the cinema rooms or playing with friends in the games rooms.

Luxury Family Hotels acknowledge that families come in all different shapes and sizes, and for many, dogs are very much part of the fold. That’s why every dog is greeted with a woof welcome pack and can also enjoy dishes from their a la bark’ menu and even Waggy Tails Tea Time, complete with puppacino.

2023 will set the scene for a new era of Luxury Family Hotels and underpin their ethos of offering families the luxury of time together in some of the most beautiful settings in England.
