Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa appoints Hospitality Expert Pankaj Bisht

Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Mr. Pankaj Bisht as its new Executive Assistant Manager – Food &Pankaj Bisht Beverage, as it prepares to unveil a series of exciting new culinary concepts that will elevate the standard of gastronomy on Vietnam’s central coast. A talented hospitality expert, Pankaj brings over 23 years of experience to this leading five-star family resort. Having kickstarted his career in 1999, Pankaj honed his skills in the kitchens of leading hotels including the famous Burj Al Arab in Dubai. He first joined Hyatt in 2006, initially at Park Hyatt Dubai and later at Park Hyatt Melbourne, before his career reached new heights in 2014 when he was appointed Executive Chef at Park Hyatt Maldives, and then at Park Hyatt St. Kitts. Pankaj arrived in Vietnam in 2019 as Director of Culinary – F&B Operations at Nam Nghi Phu Quoc, the luxury eco-resort that forms part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Now, he brings his lifetime of expertise to Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa, which is embarking on a new era of epicurean excellence in 2023.As Executive Assistant Manager he will oversee the resort’s diverse Food & Beverage offerings, including a series of exciting new concepts and reimagined venues. Opening in April, Vive Océane will become the first beach club restaurant of its kind in Danang – a chic alfresco lounge where diners can chill out and enjoy casual bites and cool cocktails while gazing out over the ocean. The resort’s vibrant Italian restaurant (formerly known as “Green House”) has been rebranded as Osteria al Mare and completely revitalized with a casual and contemporary concept, including freshly-made pasta with a social “Share Share” menu. These two restaurants are joined by Terrasse, which has already been refurbished and relaunched with comfy sofas, “brazero” fire pits and silent movies screened daily at sunset.

Pool House is a perfect location to unwind during the day or after dark with authentic Vietnamese cuisine and Western classics overlooking the pool and sea, while Baguette is a great spot to grab light bites such as sandwiches, cakes and pastries, and the Regency Club promises exclusive benefits, including daily breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening cocktails and canapés for guests staying in the premium rooms, suites and villas. Along with these outstanding F&B outlets, Pankaj will also oversee the resort’s in-room dining, which includes private barbecues for guests staying in the villas, as well as creative catering services, from grand gala dinners to elegant outdoor cocktail receptions.

Under the resort’s renovation project, an expanded Camp Hyatt kids’ club, revitalized villas and an all-new art gallery will also be revealed from April onwards.
