Casey O’Donnell brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to his role as Director of Sales and Marketing at Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland in Oregon. As a fourth-generation Portlander, Casey’s hospitality career includes more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, including a previous tenure with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Portland.
Prior to his role at Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland, Casey spent two years as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Royal Sonesta Portland, where he oversaw a team of five, strategized annual sales and marketing plans, grew year-over-year sales revenue, and increased market share for the property. Before joining the Royal Sonesta team, Casey was part of the KimptonHotels & Restaurants team for seven years, working his way up through the ranks from guest services to Area Sales Manager. During his tenure with Kimpton, Casey worked with all three Kimpton hotels in the market at the time-Kimpton Hotel MonacoPortland (now Royal SonestaPortland Downtown), Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel, and Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland. Casey’sexperience also includes roles as the Sales Manager at the Mark Spencer Hotel in Portland and the Corporate Group Sales Manager for the Grand Heritage Hotel Group. He prides himself on putting relationships first, a skill that’s surely led to his success and longstanding history of meeting client needs.
After a two-year stint away from Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Casey is thrilled to lead the sales and marketing efforts for Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland. Outside of work, you can find Casey spending time with his family, or practicing his passions, drums, and golf-he can’t get enough of either!
