Lansdowne Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie MacDowell as Director of Spa for Spa Minerale.
MacDowell joins Spa Minerale most recently from The Woodhouse Day Spa. She also served as the General Manager at the Eivind and Hans of Georgetown Salon and Spa.
“We are excited to promote Julie to Spa Director for Spa Minerale as she has been a proactive and driving force in promoting the wellness treatments in the resort and community ” said Managing Director Kevin Carter.
MacDowell will be responsible for creating services and packages that mirror the mission of Lansdowne Resort to offer wellness options to resort guests, meeting attendees as well as the local community. She will also be responsible for the retail component of the spa and cultivating products that will be used for treatments and have as a retail option to take home.
“I’m committed to offering the best wellness services for our members and guests,” said MacDowell. “We have developed a spa menu that includes treatments that go beyond what you would typically see at a day spa. Traditional Eastern medicine treatments like acupuncture, cupping, Tui-na, Guasha and Anma are incorporated with an addition of locally curated essential oils for the best outcome for repair and rejuvenation. Our guests have been very open to the services and they are selling very well.”
MacDowell currently resides in Fairfax, Virginia.
