as general manager at its newest wellness destination, Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som, located in Qatar. In this role, Morio will be responsible for managing the resort’s day-to-day success, overseeing all operations, while maintaining focus on providing an environment that encourages healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.
A dual US and German National, Morio’s hospitality career spans more than 30 years, most of which have been spent in the management team of some of the world’s most renowned luxury hotels and resorts across Europe, the United States, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. This extensive experience puts Morio in a strong position to deliver positive business results for Zulal Wellness Resort, ensuring guests have the same transformational experience they have come to expect from the Chiva-Som brand. Morio also brings with him a strong personal ethic when it comes to wellness – enjoying long distance running, the gym and swimming on a regular basis.
