Acqualina Resort & Residences, the ultra-luxury award-winning resort in Miami’s Sunny Isles Beach, announces the appointment of Mauro Pinho to the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
In this new role, Pinho will further grow Acqualina’s brand awareness creating more opportunities for strategic promotions and hotel marketing programs. He will also optimize revenue and support events/catering and sales-related functions, ensuring all efforts are aligned across the company.

Pinho, who began his career with Acqualina as Director of Sales & Marketing in 2017, has a wealth of luxury hospitality experience gained through senior roles in sales and marketing. Recently, Pinho was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Orbite Space, the world’s first space training campus. He also held senior sales and marketing positions at Fasano Hotels in Brazil and Uruguay and at The St. Regis Hotel Bal Harbour.

A native of Brazil, Pinho holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado in Brazil and speaks four languages (English, Portuguese, French and Spanish).
