In his new role, Pappas is charged with overseeing operations of KSL Resort’s East Coast portfolio, including Camelback Resort and Blue Mountain Resort – both in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.

A 35-year hospitality industry veteran, Pappas was most recently the principal of Orlando-based Richmond Street Hospitality. He was also vice president of hotel management for Tavistock Development Company and spent 11 years with Capella Hotel Group, culminating his tenure there as chief operating officer. Additionally, he has extensive executive level expertise working for such high-profile brands as The Ritz-Carlton Company and Hard Rock Hotels – and throughout his career has been involved in the opening and transition of over 50 hotels domestically and internationally.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in hotel, restaurant and institutional management from Michigan State University.
