Balboa Bay Resort, Newport Beach’s premier waterfront resort, is pleased to announce the appointment of Francine Slosser as director of marketing.
Slosser’s career in hospitality and marketing spans more than 20 years with companies such as Hyatt Hotels, Hilton Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and more. In this role, she will oversee the resort’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness.
Prior to joining Balboa Bay Resort, Slosser was director of sales and marketing at NoMo SoHo in New York City where she transitioned the hotel to a new management company as well as recruited, hired, and trained sales and catering teams. Slosser previously worked with additional top luxury hotels and resorts in California including and L’Auberge Del Mar, The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, and Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa, among Park Hyatt Beaver Creek in Vail, Colo. Slosser was born and raised in Kauai, and her first experiences in hospitality included positions with several Maui resorts, including Grand Wailea Resort and Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa.

Slosser was awarded “Marketer of The Year” by Destination Hotels & Resorts, a company that has over 96 high-end boutique-style hotels & resorts in its portfolio. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on hospitality management from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
