Chiva-Som International Wellness Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Executive Chef, Sinchai Srivipa, following the resort’s reopening last month.
As Executive Chef, Chef Sinchai will oversee the creative direction and development of the celebrated, pioneering wellness cuisine for which the resort has won international acclaim.
Chef Sinchai joined the team back in 2009 and has since enjoyed an illustrious career as Sous-chef, honing his craft and deepening his knowledge of nutrition in the Chiva-Som kitchens. His tireless pursuit of excellence is evident in his cooking, which fuses technical sophistication with cooking techniques developed to ensure dishes are high in nutrients, low in sugar, salt and saturated fat, and packed full of flavor.
During his time at Chiva-Som, Chef Sinchai has participated in high-profile events hosted in world-famous restaurants such as Mosimann’s in London and the Louis Vuitton ‘Catwalk to Closet’ event in 2011, which traveled to London, China, Taiwan, and Australia.
The much-loved Chiva-Som reopened its doors on 15 October 2019 following an extensive renovation resulting in a complete overhaul of the resort; this included a reworking of the resort’s award-winning seaside restaurant, Taste of Siam, renowned for its exquisite wellness menu.
