The Regency, Kuwait has named Dirk Heinen as its new executive chef. Hailing from Germany, Dirk Heinen brings 34 years of professional culinary experience to his new role. Beginning his career as a sous chef in in Switzerland, Taiwan and Turkey, Heinen acquired his master chef diploma in 1996 before embarking on a impressive career spanning appointments at JW Marriott Hotel Ankara and Le Meridien Barbarons Seychelles, as well as overseeing the culinary operations at the Sheraton & Four Point Complex in Kuwait City for over six years.
Prior to joining The Regency, Heinen led an executive chef at Cinnamon Grand Hotel Sri Lanka, guiding the overall culinary experience for 17 specialty restaurants. As executive chef of The Regency, Kuwait, Heinen will lead over 100 team members in culinary operations.
