New York Hilton Midtown has announced Kellie Cahill’s promotion from director of sales & marketing to commercial director, a newly created and key position for the hotel. In her new role, Cahill, a certified meeting professional, will oversee all commercial areas of the hotel’s business including catering, group events, sales, and marketing. She will also work alongside the executive committee and senior leadership group to continue to drive top line revenue to the 1,878-room hotel.

Cahill’s promotion is a direct result of over 20 years of experience in the greater New York City market with Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, she served as director of sales & marketing for New York Hilton Midtown where she was responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing, and social media teams while also planning and implementing strategies to drive revenue. Prior to this role, she was the director of group sales for the hotel, and the assistant director of sales for DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center in Somerset, NJ. Cahill graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Hospitality Administration/Management.
