NH Hotel Group has appointed Hermann Spatt as General Manager for nhow London to establish the creative brand in the UK market.
Born in Austria, Mr. Spatt studied International Hotel Management at MODUL University before joining Astron in Vienna as Front Office Manager. His career ladder has seen him move from there to his first General Manager position in 1997 (at Astron Suite Hotels – Vienna & Atterseehaus), subsequently assuming several positions with the company before joining NH Hotel Group in 2003 as General Manager for NH Vienna Airport. In 2011, he accepted the General Manager position for nhow Berlin, Europe’s first music hotel, marking the start of his journey with the nhow brand.
Besides his experience with nhow hotels, his passion for the hospitality industry, a keen creative eye and an efficient work ethic were key factors in Hermann Spatt’s appointment. Mr. Spatt is excited to bring the disruptive nhow brand to the UK: “Having been involved with the nhow brand from its very beginning, I am delighted to be able to bring the concept to London, a city whose creative energy truly matches the hotel. With the project having been in development for a while, it’s great to see it come to life and I look forward to revealing it to the public.”
