Marriott International has appointed a new General Manager to lead Aloft Perth. The appointment comes at a time of great growth for the company, with 10 new hotels set to open in the next two years in Australia alone.
“I’m delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Wright as the new General Manager of Aloft Perth,” said Sean Hunt, Area Vice President, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific, Marriott International. “2019 is set to be a big year for Marriott International in Australia with a number of brand debuts and hotel openings, so it’s essential we have a dedicated team of General Managers who can help support this growth and drive strong brand positioning.”
Andrew joins the Aloft Perth team with 27 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. His extensive career with Marriott International has seen him hold roles at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas and Sheraton Perth Hotel, and most recently Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort, as Executive Assistant Manager.
Andrew’s experience will be well-regarded at Aloft Perth, as the hotel continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the city’s most vibrant accommodation experiences.
