BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has appointed Diane Heppel director of human resources for Delta Hotels – Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property currently under construction in Allen, Texas, north of Dallas. The full-service hotel and convention centre is scheduled to open in January of 2019.
Stacy T. Martin, general manager, announced the appointment. “It is with great pleasure that I welcome Diane our property”, said Ms Martin. “She brings broad experience in the human resources function to her new position, including on-property and corporate appointments. We look forward to her leadership as part of our executive team.”
Diane Heppel was previously director of recruiting for Pillar Hotels & Resorts. Prior to this, she served as director of survey solutions – associate opinion, guest satisfaction and meeting planner surveys for Unifocus. She has also held human resource positions with La Quinta Inn, Inc., and Bristol Hotels and Resorts.
Ms Heppel attended Baylor University and has her Professional Human Resources Certification. She resides in Plano, Texas.
