BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has appointed Kenneth S. Jones director of engineering for the Doug Pitcock ’49 Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center, nearing completion in College Station, Texas. Greg Stafford, General Manager, made the announcement.
“I’m very happy to welcome Ken to our property,” said Mr Stafford. “He brings to us extensive knowledge and experience in all engineering aspects of a major resort, including conference-related facilities. He is a great addition to our team.”
Ken Jones previously served as the chief engineer for the Woodlands Resort & Conference Center near Houston. He began with this property as engineering HVAC tech and was subsequently promoted to positions of increasing responsibility. Earlier in his career, Mr Jones owned and operated K & S Air, a company he launched inMr99.
Mr. Jones attended Lone Star College in Houston. He is the recipient of numerous awards of service excellence, including Associate of the Year and Manager of the Year. He is relocating to the College Station area.
