Not a stranger to the Rotana brand, he has previously worked at Jumeira Rotana in 2011 heading the Food and Beverage team.
Subramanian has over 21 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with world-renowned hotels part of the Intercontinental Hotel Group, Great Hotels of the World and Leading Hotels of the World.
Holding a Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the National Centre for Vocational Training in Bangalore, India, he started his career in the United Arab Emirates with Al Bustan Rotana Dubai as far back as 1997.
Apart from his vast experience, Subramanian has also received numerous awards and nominations from Hotelier Middle East magazine, MENA Awards and the Emirates Culinary Guild. Taking a proactive approach, he has always strived to maintain high standards of quality and service.
In his new position, Subramanian will oversee all aspects of Amwaj Rotana’s food and beverage department consisting of five signature concepts and award-winning restaurants including famous American-Japanese Teppanyaki chain, Benihana.
