We have launched the Regenerative Tourism Guide, a no-nonsense guide to sustainable tourism. The concept of regenerative tourism is that tourism should have a positive impact and leave a place better than it was before.
The Regenerative Tourism Guide is designed to support tourism businesses and grow the visitor economy in an inclusive, accessible and sustainable way, ensuring that all corners of England continue to be a fantastic place to visit.
We also introduce the PLANT Framework which helps guide businesses through the process of becoming a more regenerative tourism business.
There are five stages: Prepare, Learn, Act, Nurture and Transform. The information in each of these stages has been presented in an easily digestible format so that businesses of all types, and people at all stages of their journey, can find the material they need on every topic in this wide-ranging field.
