Marriott International ranked top in “Best Workplace in Greater China” Award

Place to Work®, recognizing the company’s “Putting People First” corporate culture and core values.

Great Place to Work® is identified as one of the top organisations that assesses organisations with great leadership and teamwork. This year, Great Place to Work® surveyed more than 280 companies, out of which, 54 are recognised and awarded as the ‘Best Workplaces in Greater China™ 2023’, assessed through credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie five aspects.

This year, Marriott International launched its new people brand ‘Be’ as the company continues to welcome top talent around the world. The program focuses on three pillars: begin, belong, and become, aimed at empowering associates to fulfil their personal career goals, while promoting the company’s inclusive and welcoming culture.

Currently, Marriott operates more than 520 hotels in Greater China and the hotels employs more than 90,000 associates, with local general managers accounting for nearly 80% of its workforce. The company is also committed to promoting gender equality, and prioritize female leadership on the development, with 45% of its management positions and one out of five general manager are women in Greater China.
